Would you like to stop your mast being pushed through the bottom of you boat? This gear is designed to spread the load created by the downward pressure of the shrouds on the mast. Without it, the mast tends to get pushed down and the sides can also be pulled in. Takes only an hour or so to fit and it very easy to adjust and subsequently remove. Hull only. Generally believed to be sound. Last sailed in 2004 or possibly 2005. Needs refurbishment, with cover. This is one of the original Victorys built in 1934 and it would be great to have it restored for its, and the Class, 75th anniversary next year. Free to genuine restorer.

Victory Class Hull number 28 ( Hull only. No mast, sails…or name!) Built as Z28 in 1936, this hull was renumbered to Z1 almost immediately in the thirties and has a good racing record (inc. a Cowes week win!) but now redundant due to a new replacement GRP hull on it’s way; hence renumber back to Z28 This hull has had much maintenance over the last twenty years with a ‘back to bare wood’ refurb in the late 80s. It is basically sound, but stripped of all fittings - really needs TLC. Last raced in 2006; currently laid up at PSC. Epoxy coated Keel and Deck. Keel Bolts replaced in 1998. Several planks replaced over the years. Coaming and brightwork all new, in teak, in 1989 by Robby Kerby. Stainless Steel rudder tube and stock. SOLD SEPTEMBER 08 Contact Z28@woozle.co.uk
